Review: Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select

Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select
Kentucky Straight Bourbon, 43.2%, 32€ (approx. 35 freedoms)

Nose: Plenty of vanilla. Butterscotch. Hints of dried fruits.

Colour: Dark amber.

Taste: Balanced and not at all offensive. Lots of butterscotch. Some apricot. A bit spicy after a few seconds.

Finish: Medium. The caramel lingers for a bit. A bit spicy.

Summary: A decent entry-level bourbon. The price is a little too high.

Score: 78/100.
