Review: Glenfarclas 10
Glenfarclas 10
Highland, 40%. 29€ (approx. 33 freedoms)
Nose: Sherry sweetness. Just a tiny bit of peat. Well balanced.
Colour: Light gold.
Taste: Firm body. Less sherry, light and dry. Some malt. Perhaps some dried fruits. Vanilla and some citrus.
Finish: Medium, longer than nose and taste would suggest. Surprisingly spicy with some initial sherry sweetness.
Summary: A pleasant entry-level malt. Glenfarclas has better to offer, although the price is great.
Score: 80/100.
