Review: Auchentoshan 12

Auchentoshan 12
Lowland, 40%. 31€ (approx. 35 freedoms)

Nose: Very light and inoffensive. A bit of sweetness, almost creamy. Borderline indiscriminate.

Colour: Caramel brown.

Taste: Light and sweet (perhaps honey). A tiny bit of sherry. Some lighter fruits.

Finish: Very brief. A bit nutty and rather dry.

Summary: An oddly one-dimensional malt, almost boring. Not for me!

Score: 76/100.
